Play Golf Party with friends
Golf Party is only in Brazilian Portuguese for now. English will come later, no date set.
Golf Party was made to be played with friends. There is no matchmaking with strangers: the room is private, and only people with the link or the code get in. Nobody needs to install anything, everyone plays in the browser.
Opening a room
- On the start screen, pick a nickname and a color for your ball.
- Click Criar sala (create room). The room opens with a 4-letter code, like
KXPT. - Click Copiar link (copy link) and send it to your group chat.
- When everyone is in the lobby, the room owner, the one with the crown, presses Começar (start).
A room holds up to 4 players.
Joining a friend’s room
You have two ways in:
- By link. Open the link your friend sent. You land straight in their lobby and only need a nickname, if you do not have one yet.
- By code. On the start screen, type the 4-letter code in the join-a-room field.
Joining only works before the match starts. Once the owner presses Começar, the room closes to new players, so get everyone in first.
Everyone with their own color
You pick from 8 ball colors, and two people in the same room never share one. If yours is taken, the game gives you the first free one and you can change it in the lobby. Your nickname and color are saved on your device and come back filled in next time.
What if someone drops?
A closed tab or a shaky connection does not end your match. Open the same link again and you rejoin the hole the room is on, with your strokes and the scoreboard kept. That holds for a short time: wait too long and you leave the room.
Finished? Play again
After the 6 holes the podium shows everyone’s total. The room goes back to the lobby with the same people, and the owner can start another match.
